Just go into setting then switch to gsm only after this you'll need to enter byod follow directions on this link

if you have a byod from Verizon and the first thing you should do is check imei to see if it is not blacklisted on Verizon Network if it is it can't be activated no where in the untied states carriers here you can find Imei on verizon phone by going to phone pad and dialing *#06# and here is the link
