APN Settings For BYOD’s For MetroPcs Wireless

1. Click on Setting’s

   2.  Click on Mobile Networks

3.  Click On Acccess Point Names Or APN

4.  Click On Menu Choose New Apn

5.  Clcik On Name now type:  MetroPcs

6.  Clcik On APN now type:   fast.metropcs.com

   7.  Click on MMS APN now type :   fast.metropcs.com 

8.   Click on MMSC now type:    http://metropcs.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc

 9.  Click on MCC it should say 310 if it does leave it alone

10. Click on MNC it should say 260 if it does leave it alone

11  Click on APN Type now type the following:   default,mms,supl

12  Click Menu Hit Save

Now it should look like the bottom picture

13. Now go back to APN setting make sure MetroPcs  is chosen there should be a green circle on the side of it if there isn’t just click it and that’s it.

Now You Have Internet and Mms Working On BYOD

From Main Menu 

1.Select Settings 

2.Select General 

3.Select Network 

4.Select Cellular Data Network 

5.Change the following settings: 

Click APN: fast.metropcs.com 

Click Username and Password : <Leave Blank> 

Click MMSC: http://metropcs.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc 

Click MMS Proxy: Leave Blank 

Click MMS Max Message Size: Leave Blank 

Click MS UA Prof URL:  http://www.apple.com/mms/uaprof.rdf
