Warranty Vs Asurion A.K.A MetroGuard

This will explain what the warranty covers and what Metro guard covers:

Metro guard gives you comprehensive mobile phone protection. You get coverage against loss, theft, damage (including water damage), and out-of-warranty malfunctions this will cost the customer a $5.00 a month fee. Customer needs to file a claim he/she can go to http://phoneclaim.com/metropcs or call 1-866-862-3397 at the time of claim customer must have a credit or debit card ready for Deductible if the current phone is not in stock a compatible unit we be sent .

ok now the warranty with MetroPcs the warranty is not an insurance it  is a manufacture replacement process if the phone malfunctions for example doesn't power on, stays on boot logo, over heats, touch screen is not responding, reboots over and over again or cannot make calls do to no signal. But it will not cover water damage, theft or loss always check the white sticker under the battery if it's red the phone has been damage with water. Metropcs can exchange the phone if the current phone is not in stock a compatible unit we be sent you must let the customer know before processing replacement if you have troubleshooted the phone and made sure it has not been rooted there’s 3 methods for warranty placement.

1. If it has been less then 30 days MetroPcs can do a warranty process, but the customer must wait at least 4 days to receive new phone.

2.If it has been more then 30 days but less then a year you can do the process but charge a $15.00 fee must be paid at the store do not release phone without collecting this fee.but the customer must wait at least 4 days to receive new phone.

3. You can also provide the customer with its manufacture's phone number and they can contact them directly

If the phone has been rooted this voids both warranty and Metroguard at this point customer must purchase a new phone.

The following image will show some app's if you see one of these app's on the phone it means it has been rooted.
